Our ‘day job’ is typically around specifying improvements to existing deployment of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems within large organisations. But increasingly we are looking to Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) as a source and driver of information related opportunities and challenges.
To that end we are investing time and intellectual property in the Mydex social enterprise which is chartered to ‘help individuals realise the value of their personal information’. We believe that much of this value realisation will come from enabling information to flow from the individual to their suppliers in ways that generate win-wins, rather than the current modus operandi which is increasingly proving un-satisfactory for both parties.
