Trust Index Process

The assessment includes consideration of privacy and data protection legislation, good customer management practice and an awareness of the upsides and downsides to the use of technology in relation to personal information. It comprises a 12 question, multiple choice survey taken online or face to face; it must be completed by an appropriate representative of the organisation, typically a Privacy Officer.
On completion of the assessment, the organisation is provided with a summary report of their own performance in isolation and versus the overall Trust Index. Where weakness is un-covered, recommendation for improvement are included.
The Trust Index is free to use during the beta phase.
